Stephen Quandel

Stephen Quandel serves as a Senior Lecturer for Music Theory, Composition & Aural Training within the Department of Composition & Music Theory at Mozarteum University, a position he has held since 2019.

His educational background includes instrumental composition studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (HfMT Cologne) under Krzysztof Meyer and Markus Hechtle, supplemented by specialized training in tone-setting pedagogy and aural education with Friedrich Jaecker and Johannes Schild.
