Stephen McKinney is a Professor of Religious Education at the University of Glasgow, where he has served for nearly 30 years. He holds leadership roles in research clusters such as the 'Pedagogy, Praxis & Faith' group and has led initiatives on Catholic education, poverty, and social justice. His work bridges theology, education policy, and historical studies, with a focus on faith-based schooling and equity in education. He is a Visiting Professor at Newman University and chairs the Board of Directors at LSME.
