Stephen LaHaye

Dr. Stephen LaHaye is an Assistant Professor at Queen’s University and an attending staff cardiologist at Kingston General Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. He serves as the medical director of the Hotel Dieu Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre and director of the Southeastern Ontario Vascular Disease Prevention and Research Centre. His clinical expertise focuses on preventing atherosclerosis through management of risk factors like cholesterol, diabetes, hypertension, and smoking.

Dr. LaHaye’s research interests emphasize the development of clinical decision aids to guide clinicians at the point of care. These tools aim to provide practical, evidence-based support for patient management decisions. His work bridges clinical practice and research to improve cardiovascular care outcomes.
