Stephen Kissler is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. His research focuses on epidemiology, pathogen evolution, and complex social systems. He earned his BS and MS in Applied Mathematics from CU Boulder, followed by a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Cambridge as a Gates Scholar. Prior to his current role, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
