Stephen Henhawk (Gayogohó:nǫˀ/Cayuga) is a Research Associate in the American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program and the Department of Linguistics at Cornell University. A first-language Gayogohó:nǫˀ speaker and faithkeeper from the Six Nations Reservation in Canada, he now resides in Ithaca, NY, where he teaches Cayuga language and culture courses. His work bridges linguistics, Indigenous knowledge systems, and community engagement.
- Research Focus: Indigenous language revitalization, cultural preservation, and Haudenosaunee studies.
