معرفی
Professor Stephen Hall serves as Director of the Brain Research and Imaging Centre (BRIC) and Professor in Human Neuroimaging at the University of Plymouth's School of Psychology. His research employs advanced neuroimaging techniques including magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional MRI, and EEG to investigate neural mechanisms in Parkinson's disease, anxiety disorders, and neuroplasticity.
Research focuses include motor cortical oscillations, neurochemical modulation in Parkinson's disease, anxiety networks, and pain processing mechanisms. His laboratory develops novel neurofeedback interventions for movement disorders and investigates functional connectivity changes in clinical populations. Current projects examine CO2-induced anxiety networks, sleep-cognition relationships, and ultrasound-mediated neuromodulation.
Professor Hall maintains extensive publications on neural oscillations, GABAergic modulation, and neuroimaging methodologies. He directs multidisciplinary research at BRIC and supervises doctoral research in clinical neuroscience and neuroimaging.
