Stephen Green is an Assistant Professor at the Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University, UK. His research focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystems, regional development, and sustainable urban planning. He actively collaborates on projects funded by the Scottish Government, including decarbonizing aviation and urban farming initiatives in deprived communities.
Education includes an MA in Slavonic Studies (University of Glasgow), LLB (Open University), and an MA in European Studies (Jagiellonian University, Kraków), where he examined EU enlargement impacts on neighboring countries. He also holds interdisciplinary expertise in Russian language, business, and literature.
Research interests span policy-maker communication in entrepreneurship, sustainable development goals (SDGs), and geopolitical economic dynamics. Recent work employs topic modeling to bridge gaps between academic research and policy implementation. He is currently accepting PhD students and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications since 2002.
