Stephen F. Tracey

Stephen F. Tracey is a Professor of Practice at the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University, and Executive Director of the Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR). He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Finance from Penn State. His expertise spans supply chain strategic planning, blockchain applications, global leadership, and healthcare supply chain optimization. He has led the CSCR since 2014, fostering research partnerships with industry leaders. Tracey previously served as SVP of Global Supply Chain at Standard Textile Company, managing operations across 14 countries.

His research focuses on supply chain agility, blockchain integration, and pandemic response strategies. Notable publications include studies on IBM's supply chain agility, blockchain enterprise applications, and pandemic logistics challenges. Tracey received the 2022 Lighthouse Award and Advisor of the Year recognition.
