Stephen Atkin

Professor Stephen Atkin is the Head of School Postgraduate Studies and Research at RCSI-Bahrain, a leading academic institution focused on medical education and research. With a distinguished career spanning decades, he specializes in Diabetes and Endocrinology, contributing extensively to translational clinical research.

• Education: B.Sc. in Biochemistry (Hons) from Newcastle University (1979); M.B.B.S. (Hons) from Newcastle University (1984); Ph.D. from Liverpool University (1993); MRCP(UK) (1987); FRCP(UK) (1999).
