Stephen Amerman

Stephen Amerman is a Professor of History at Southern Connecticut State University, specializing in American Indian history with a focus on 20th-century urbanization, education, and Connecticut regional studies. He holds a PhD from the University of Utah/Arizona State University and has taught at Southern since 2003. His work bridges historical scholarship and public education, emphasizing Indigenous perspectives in urban contexts.
