Stephen A. Sonnenberg is a Professor and Charles Boettcher Distinguished Chair in Petroleum Geology at the Colorado School of Mines. He holds adjunct roles including Adjunct Associate Professor and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics. His research focuses on sequence stratigraphy, tectonic influences on sedimentation, reservoir characterization, unconventional resources, and petroleum trap analysis.
