Professor Stephanie van Ophuysen holds the Chair of Educational Science with a focus on Empirical Research Methods at the University of Münster. She leads the Methods of Empirical Educational Research working group. Her research emphasizes social relationships in schools, particularly in inclusive settings, promoting motivation in teacher training, and school transition processes. She has held academic roles since 2009, including a visiting professorship at Wuppertal University.

Publications & Grants: Over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Key projects include the KommSchreib! writing intervention and the SeGeL transition study, funded by DFG and German Federal Ministry. She co-authored textbooks on statistics in educational research.
Teaching: Courses on statistics, research methods, and qualitative research in education. Active in curriculum development for research-based learning in teacher training programs.
