Stephanie L. Young is an Associate Teaching Professor and the W. M. Keck Foundation Endowed Chair in Creative Writing at Mills College, Northeastern University. Her work bridges poetry, scholarship, and activism, focusing on interdisciplinary boundaries.

- Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from Mills College
Her research interests include contemporary poetry, cross-genre writing, feminist theory, and systemic inequities in literary institutions. She has published five poetry collections, including Pet Sounds, which earned a Lambda Literary Award. Ongoing projects involve collaborative investigations into racial disparities in academia with Claire Grossman and Juliana Spahr.
Her articles explore identity, literary production, and social movements, appearing in journals like ASAP/J and American Literary History.
