Stephanie Spacciante is a Lecturer of Spanish and Language Program Director of Spanish in the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies, Faculty of Arts at the University of British Columbia. She serves as the 201/202 Course Coordinator and participates in various departmental committees. A specialist in immersive language education, Spacciante designs and directs academic immersion programs in Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Cuba, and Costa Rica as the Summer Study Abroad Director for Go Global Seminar Programs in South America.
Her educational background includes a Master of Arts from Washington State University.
Teaching focuses on Spanish language acquisition through immersive methodologies and curriculum development for study abroad contexts. Administrative responsibilities include program coordination and faculty development initiatives within the department.
