Stephanie Selover is an Associate Professor in the Department of Near Eastern Languages & Civilization at the University of Washington. She specializes in the archaeology and cultures of the ancient Middle East, with a focus on prehistoric societies, violence in antiquity, and modern political impacts on archaeological practices. Her fieldwork spans Jordan, Turkey, Syria, Israel, Italy, and the United States.
