Stephanie Schindel

Stephanie Schindel is a Lecturer at Geneva College, teaching undergraduate courses in social services, psychology, and criminal justice. She has also served as Director of the Lawrence County Adult Probation and Parole Department, Coordinator of the Lawrence County Intermediate Punishment Program, and Mental Health Specialist for Beaver County Adult Probation and Parole Department.

• B.S. in Psychology and Chemistry (Geneva College, 1990)

Her research and professional focus centers on interdisciplinary collaboration between social service and criminal justice agencies, human diversity, and special populations in social services. She has developed training programs for first responders and local agencies to enhance community health and well-being.

Stephanie received the Geneva College Excellence in Teaching Award (2010), Outstanding Service Award (2017), and Who's Who Among America's Teachers (2005/2006). Her 2018 published article explores service-learning strategies that bridge academic instruction with community engagement.
