Stephanie RiCharde

Stephanie RiCharde serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Randolph College since fall 2021, focusing on mental health education and stigma reduction through clinical and academic channels.

Educational background:

• Master's in Clinical Psychology
• Doctoral degree in International Psychology (Trauma concentration)

Her research integrates trauma psychology, cross-cultural perspectives, and crisis response systems. She co-founded the Rockbridge-Bath Crisis Intervention Team to train law enforcement in mental health emergencies, emphasizing non-Western frameworks for global trauma understanding. Teaching methodology prioritizes discussion-based seminars in courses like Psychology of Trauma and Biopsychology of Addiction.
