Stephanie Redekop is a Full-Time Lecturer in the Writing Program at Case Western Reserve University. Her research and teaching focus on the intersection of belief, nonfictional texts, and storytelling, with specialties in literary nonfiction (essays, life writing, and literary journalism), religion and literature, and the role of factual narratives in public discourse. She previously taught at the University of Toronto and Boston College. Her work appears in journals such as Genre: Forms of Discourse and Culture, the Journal of the History of Ideas blog, and English Today. She is currently developing a volume for the MLA Options for Teaching series titled [Project Title Not Explicitly Listed in Text].
Her academic contributions emphasize critical analysis of how nonfiction shapes cultural and intellectual frameworks through narrative forms. She actively engages in scholarly conversations about the ethical and epistemological dimensions of factual storytelling.
