Stephanie O'Hara

Stephanie O'Hara, PhD is an Associate Professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, affiliated with the Departments of Global Languages and Cultures and Women's & Gender Studies. She teaches courses on French language, literature, and culture, as well as women's and gender studies topics.

• Education: PhD (2003) and MA (1998) from Duke University, BA (1995) from Wellesley College

Research focuses on early modern European literature and culture, the history of medicine, and intersections between colonialism and gastronomy in French cultural identity. Her courses explore topics like:
