Stephanie O'Donohoe is a Personal Chair in Advertising and Consumer Culture at the University of Edinburgh Business School, leading the Marketing Group. Her work focuses on interpretive consumer research, particularly advertising consumption practices, family consumption transitions, and bereavement-related consumption experiences. She holds a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and has collaborated internationally on projects involving consumption in motherhood transitions and intergenerational relationships.

Recent projects include studies on grandparents' consumption during the pandemic, affective experiences in museums, and intergenerational relationships through children's literature. She leads the VOICE Group and co-organized the ESRC Motherhoods, Markets and Consumption seminar series.
