This work bridges developmental and social psychology with strong applications in gender studies and adolescent mental health frameworks.
Dr. Masters actively mentors undergraduate researchers through the GAP lab, emphasizing hands-on psychological research experience for students new to academic inquiry. She maintains an open invitation for student collaboration in her laboratory environment.
The Gender, Adolescence, and Peers (GAP) lab serves as her primary research unit, focusing on empirical studies of social dynamics in adolescent development with particular attention to gendered relational patterns.
