Stephanie Martin is a Professor in Educational Psychology & Special Education at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Education. She holds dual registrations as a Psychologist in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Her research focuses on women’s mental health, trauma healing, and professional development in applied psychology. She has supervised over 12 graduate students and led/co-led multiple grants totaling over $1.5M. Key projects include studies on intimate partner violence, secondary traumatic stress among helpers, and resilience in marginalized groups. Active since 2003, her work emphasizes collaborative, qualitative methods. Awards include SSHRC grants and the John Ranton McIntosh Research Award. She teaches courses in ethics, qualitative methods, and clinical practicum supervision.
