معرفی
Stephanie Majewski is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Oregon, serving as Director of Graduate Studies and Deputy Director of the Institute for Fundamental Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University (2007) and has been at the University of Oregon since 2012. Her research focuses on experimental particle physics, particularly investigating Dark Matter, physics beyond the Standard Model, and Supersymmetry using data from the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the ATLAS detector. She leads efforts to search for the Supersymmetric partner of the top quark ('stop') and contributes to upgrading the ATLAS detector's Liquid Argon Calorimeter trigger electronics for future LHC runs.
- Education: Ph.D., Physics, Stanford University, 2007
- Affiliations: Institute for Fundamental Science, College of Arts and Sciences
Her research interests include high-energy physics experiments, detector development, and theoretical explorations of fundamental particles. While no specific awards are listed, her contributions to ATLAS and particle physics are central to her academic profile.
Advising & Grants: Advises graduate students in experimental particle physics. Engaged in research funded by projects related to LHC upgrades and data analysis.
Labs/Teams: Active within the ATLAS collaboration and the University of Oregon's Physics Department research groups.
