Research explores material/visual culture through royalist print commodities and political representation. Authored Monarchy, Print Culture, and Reverence in Early Modern England: Picturing Royal Subjects examining loyalist objects in public life.
Current project Between Ownership and Undoing investigates material dispossession in 18th-century consumer culture. Teaching covers European history with focus on interdisciplinary approaches to artifacts and ephemera.
