Stephanie Kaudela-Baum

Stephanie Kaudela-Baum is a Professor and Co-Head of the Competence Centre for Business Development, Leadership, and HR at the Lucerne School of Business (HSLU). She holds a doctorate in strategic human resource management and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and consulting. Her work focuses on innovation leadership, organizational creativity, agile transformation, and collaborative leadership. She co-leads academic programs such as the Major People Management and Organization (MSc BA) and the CAS Creative Leadership for Digital Transformation.

Education: Studied economics at the Universities of Augsburg and Basel, completed her PhD on strategic HR management.

Research Interests: Organizational creativity, innovation leadership, agile transformation, collaborative learning, leadership in expert organizations, and digital transformation. Her publications span books, peer-reviewed articles, and reports, emphasizing practical applications of leadership theories.

Key Projects: Includes the Blockchain-based Innovation Governance (BIG), Human-AI Collaboration in Knowledge Management, and DISCO (Developing Innovative Sustainable Cooperation Opportunities). She has also led studies on digital female founders and hybrid team management (hyFiT).

Awards: Recognized for her book 'Experten führen' (2019), Best Paper Awards (2015, 2012), and contributions to innovation management research. Active in committees like ISPIM and CINet.

Labs/Teams: Leads the Institute of Business and Regional Economics (IBR) and contributes to the neo network for applied innovation research. Engaged in consulting projects supporting organizational transformation.
