Dr. Stephanie Hladik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Education at the University of Manitoba's Price Faculty of Engineering. Holding a PhD in Educational Research from the University of Calgary, her research integrates engineering, education, and critical theory to promote equity in STEM. She teaches technology & society and engineering communication courses.
Research examines facilitation in informal learning spaces (museums, makerspaces), sociocultural approaches to STEM identity, and equity-focused pedagogy. Publications emphasize design-based research, collaborative learning, and inclusive practices. She is not currently seeking graduate students.
