Stephanie Heger is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Bologna, affiliated with the Department of Economic Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis (2015), an M.A. in Economics from the same institution (2013), and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science (cum laude) from Indiana University (2005). Her research focuses on behavioral economics, particularly the effects of policies targeting behavioral change in domains such as charitable giving, volunteerism, and cooperation. She employs experimental methods (field, lab, and online), administrative data, and surveys.
