Research Interests: Graf critically examines how philosophical concepts like ‘freedom’, ‘sovereignty’, and ‘justice’ are shaped by historical atrocities (e.g., the Holocaust). Her work interrogates Adorno’s and Benjamin’s critiques of legal systems that perpetuate violence, while engaging with German-Jewish literary and theological traditions. Recent projects explore antisemitism’s persistence in post-war legal frameworks and its implications for contemporary justice discourse.
Grants & Projects: Member of the FWF-funded ‘Metaphors as Doorkeepers’ project analyzing metaphorical structures in political discourse.
