Univ.-Prof. Dr. Michael Kirchler is a Professor of Finance at the University of Innsbruck's Institute of Banking and Finance. He leads the Special Research Center (SFB) on Credence Goods, Incentives, and Behavior (2017–2026) and directs the Innsbruck Decision Sciences Research Center. His academic journey includes roles as Associate and Assistant Professor at the University of Innsbruck, alongside a visiting professorship at the University of Gothenburg since 2009.
Education: He earned his MSc in Business Administration (2003), PhD in Finance (2006), and Habilitation (2010) from the University of Innsbruck.
