Dr. Stephanie Diepeveen is a Senior Lecturer in Global Digital Politics at King’s College London’s Department of Digital Humanities, part of the Faculty of Arts & Humanities. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge and has prior affiliations with institutions including RAND Europe, UKRI, and ODI. Her research focuses on digital infrastructure geopolitics, mis/disinformation, and African digitalisation, emphasizing Global South perspectives.

She actively collaborates with African and Global South institutions like the University of the Witwatersrand and Somali Public Agenda.
Recent policy contributions include co-authoring G20 briefs on inclusive digital public infrastructure and Brazil’s interoperability frameworks. Her work bridges academia and practice through participatory methods involving civil society and local media actors.
