Stephanie Ballard is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Grace College, located in Winona Lake, Indiana. She holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of Saint Francis, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governor's University. Her academic affiliations include the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), the Indiana Organization for Nursing Leadership (IOLN), and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Ballard specializes in obstetric nursing and employs an active-learning teaching style emphasizing hands-on clinical skills. Her professional focus integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application, reflecting her commitment to preparing nursing students for real-world healthcare environments. Beyond academia, she is actively involved in 4-H programs and maintains a small farm with goats, cows, and plans to acquire a donkey. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and reading.
As part of Grace College’s nursing faculty, Ballard values the close-knit community environment, which allows her to mentor students personally and support their career aspirations. She contributes to the BSN program alongside colleagues like Callie Anglemyer and Deborah Gillum.
