Stephanie Badde

Stephanie Badde is the Stibel Family Assistant Professor of Brain and Cognitive Science in Tufts University's Department of Psychology. Research examines multisensory integration, tactile processing, and body representation using psychophysics, computational modeling, and neuroscientific methods.

Key investigations include: causal inference in audiovisual timing, tactile spatial selectivity guided by hand position, and cognitive penetrability across sensory modalities. Recent publications demonstrate how sensory precision influences temporal recalibration and how default body locations structure tactile perception. Awarded the Lucien Levy Best Research Article (2016) for neuroimaging work.
