Dr. Stephanie Alexander is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Teaching, Leadership, and Research at the University of West Florida's School of Education. With over 37 years of public education experience, she specializes in bridging educational theory and classroom practice, having taught all elementary grade levels and served as a K-12 literacy coach.
Education:
- Ed.D. in Reading and Literacy Leadership, Walden University
- M.S. in Reading and Literacy, Walden University
- B.Ed. in Elementary Education, Hardin-Simmons University
Her research focuses on literacy coaching, teacher professional development, reading interventions, and balanced literacy methodologies. She has presented at national conferences including the Association of Literacy Educators and Researchers and the International Literacy Association.
