Steinar Ryen is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut, teaching in the Business Executive MBA program with a focus on strategy and planning. He is also the President of Sherwood Capital and Consulting LLC, and an instructor at Eastern Connecticut State University.
Ryen has extensive experience in financial services across the United States, Australia, and Europe. His expertise spans strategic execution, financial management, business process redesign, and KPI development. He has held executive roles at The Hartford, a Fortune 200 company, and previously served as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company and Aston Associates, advising banks and insurance clients.
