Stefano Tardini

Stefano Tardini is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society at Università della Svizzera italiana (USI). He is also the Head of the eLab - eLearning Lab and affiliated with the Institute of Digital Technologies for Communication (ITDxC). His work focuses on enhancing teaching quality through digital technologies.

Stefano has been instrumental in promoting digital pedagogy at USI, particularly through the development and support of online learning platforms such as iCorsi3 and ePortfolio. His work emphasizes that technology should serve learning, not dominate it.

Advising and Grants: While no formal students are listed, Stefano leads major educational initiatives. He is involved in externally funded projects such as the EASE Project (funded by swissuniversities) in collaboration with the University of Bern, aimed at improving digital teaching competencies. He also co-leads two USI Agora projects: 'Building Dialogue Spaces for Conflict Resolution' and 'Double Gaze. Visual Reflections.'

Labs and Teams: As head of eLab, he leads a multidisciplinary team providing pedagogical and technical support for digital learning across USI. The lab offers training, tools (including Turnitin, SEB, Panopto), and infrastructure to faculty and teaching staff.
