Stefano Pluchino

Professor Stefano Pluchino is a faculty member at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the School of Clinical Medicine and Department of Clinical Neurosciences. His research focuses on regenerative neuroimmunology, particularly the role of stem cells and metabolic pathways in treating neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases like Multiple Sclerosis (MS). He leads clinical trials, including the first-in-kind use of allogeneic neural stem cells in progressive MS patients.
