Stefanie Dederichs

Stefanie Dederichs is a Professor of Measurement Technology and Signal Processing at the Faculty of Media, University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf. She holds a doctorate in Medical Information Technology from RWTH Aachen and an MBA from RWTH Aachen/HSG St. Gallen.

Her research focuses on extracting information from small and large datasets, applying mathematical algorithms, and integrating sensor systems in medical technology, production optimization, and digitalization. She teaches modules in Signal Processing, Network Technology, and Advanced Network Technology, emphasizing practical skills in network design, routing, and signal analysis.

She joined the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf in March 2020 after serving as Professor at Hochschule Rhein-Waal (2014-2020). Her industry experience includes roles at CAE GmbH and SICK AG, specializing in simulation systems and laser sensor portfolio management.
