- PhD in Planning Studies from the Bartlett School of Planning (UCL)
- Former roles at UCL and London South Bank University
- Advisor to EU Commission, House of Lords, and Industrial Land Commission
Her research examines how economic shifts and crises (e.g., climate change, post-COVID dynamics) reshape urban spaces, with a focus on densification policies, co-working spaces, and left-behind coastal towns. Recent projects analyze shared workspaces as social infrastructure, industrial clusters, and governance frameworks for equitable development.
Her publications span leading journals like Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society and Cities. She contributes to editorial boards (including Regions) and collaborates internationally, with engagements at University of Toronto, Politecnico di Milano, and Science Po. She trains PhD students and leads modules on planning policy, urban regeneration, and research methods.
