Stefania Fatone

Stefania Fatone is a Professor and Director of the Division of Prosthetics & Orthotics in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington (School of Medicine). She is also an Associate Chair in her department and oversees the Master of Prosthetics & Orthotics program.

Research Interests focus on biomechanical and clinical advancements in prosthetics and orthotics, including:

• Orthotic management of upper motor neuron lesions
• Partial foot amputation outcomes
• 3D scanning for prosthetic alignment
• Patient-centered decision-making tools
• Smart sensor integration in prosthetics
