Stefan Wöhner

Dr. Stefan Wöhner is a Researcher in the Cognitive Psychology department at the University of Leipzig, focusing on semantic processing in word production. He obtained his Dr. rer. nat. (Psychology) in 2018, M.Sc. in 2014, and B.Sc. in Psychology in 2012.

His research examines semantic interference and facilitation in naming tasks, using experimental designs involving picture-word interference, blocked categorization, and multimodal stimuli. Key publications from 2025–2024 explore adaptive lexical processing, response congruency effects, and cross-modal semantic interactions.
