Stefan Sandfeld

Prof. Dr. Stefan Sandfeld is the Director of the Institute for Advanced Simulation (IAS) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, leading the Materials Data Science and Informatics (IAS-9) group. His research focuses on integrating machine learning, data mining, and computational methods to address challenges in materials science, particularly in analyzing dislocation dynamics, microstructure evolution, and high-throughput microscopy data.
