Stefan Reis

Professor Stefan Reis is a UKCEH Fellow and scientist at DLR PT (German Aerospace Centre’s Project Management Agency). Until March 2023, he led UKCEH's Atmospheric Chemistry and Effects science area, focusing on biosphere-atmosphere interactions via greenhouse gases, pollutants, and modelling. His research integrates environmental sensors, models, and health impact assessments for air pollution and climate change effects.

Editorial roles include Environmental Modelling & Software and Environmental Research Letters. Awards include iEMSs Fellowship (2016), MSSANZ Fellowship (2018), RSA Fellowship, and serving as iEMSs President since 2020. He contributes to NERC as a Peer Review College member since 2012 and Science Committee member since 2021.

His work emphasizes linking human and ecosystem health through conceptual models and sensor integration. Leadership in environmental modelling communities underscores his global influence in the field.
