Stefan Nitschke is a Lecturer at the Justus Liebig University Giessen, affiliated with the Institute for Musicology and Music Education. He teaches classical guitar and electric guitar since 2015 and 2016 respectively, and has held his current position since April 2018.
His musical expertise spans diverse genres including rock/pop, blues, funk, jazz, Balkan/soul, and musicals. He is also active as a concert guitarist in quartet, trio, duo, and solo formats, and contributes to improvised musical theatre and contemporary music premieres.
Stefan Nitschke studied classical guitar under Professors Ulrich Müller and Olaf van Gonnissen, graduating with qualifications as an Instrumental Pedagogue and Artistic Maturity holder. He has been self-employed as a guitar teacher since 2000.
