Stefan Marz

Dr. Stefan Marz is a researcher at the Research Facility Satellite Geodesy at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). His work focuses on satellite geodesy, precise orbit determination, and time transfer systems, with particular expertise in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) including Galileo and BeiDou. He has been actively involved in the European Laser Timing (ELT) project and other ESA initiatives related to satellite navigation and geodesy.

Dr. Marz's research interests span multiple areas of satellite geodesy and navigation. His work explores the use of optical two-way links for precise orbit determination and time transfer, the development of radiation force models for GNSS satellites, and the integration of geosynchronous satellites into future navigation constellations.
