Stefan Markovic is a Professor of Marketing and Head of the Marketing Department at NEOMA Business School, France. Previously, he held positions at Copenhagen Business School, where he led research initiatives on marketing ethics and branding. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences (with international distinctions) from ESADE Business School, Spain, and multiple advanced degrees in business administration.
His research focuses on intersections between marketing, brand image, innovation, and ethics, with publications in top journals like Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, and Industrial Marketing Management. He co-edits Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility and chairs interdisciplinary research groups.
Teaching excellence awards include mentorship in marketing, strategy, and ethics across global programs, including executive MBAs. His work bridges academic research with industry through partnerships in tourism, fashion, and music sectors. Recent articles emphasize B2B ethics, SME resilience, and CSR-driven innovation.
