معرفی
Stefan Kaiser is a Professor at the Institute of Solid State and Materials Physics at TU Dresden. He leads the Max Planck Research Group "Ultrafast Solid State Spectroscopy" and previously headed the independent Ultrafast Solid-State Spectroscopy group at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in Stuttgart (2014–2021). His research focuses on ultrafast dynamics in correlated electron systems, light-induced superconductivity, and advanced spectroscopic techniques under extreme conditions.
Education:
- Diploma in Physics (2005), RWTH Aachen
- PhD in Physics (2010), University of Stuttgart
Research Highlights: Pioneered light-induced superconductivity in cuprates, developed sub-cycle time-resolved THz spectroscopy, and contributed to free-electron laser experiments at facilities like LCLS and FELBE. Collaborated on building the ARTEMIS XUV light source at Rutherford Lab and designed a high-energy-resolution lab-scale equivalent.
Key Projects: Co-founded the Max Planck Research Department for Structural Dynamics in Hamburg (2009–2013), designed novel experimental setups for time-resolved photoemission, and advanced measurements under extreme pressures/temperatures.
