Stefan Höschele is Professor of Systematic Theology and Adventist Studies at Friedensau Adventist University, where he also serves as Vice Dean of the School of Theology and Head of the Institute for Adventist History and Theology. He holds a PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Malawi (2005) and a habilitation from Charles University in Prague (2017).
- Research Interests: Ethics, Adventist Theology, Soteriology, Ecumenics, Theological Hermeneutics, History of Seventh-day Adventists, and Relational Models Theory.
- Current Projects: Focused on Adventist Ethics, exploring professionalization, regional diversification, and moral reasoning within global Adventism.
His scholarly work includes foundational studies on Adventist interchurch relations, ethics, and missiology. He has edited academic journals like Spes Christiana (2006–2019) and contributed to encyclopedic projects, coordinating historical articles on European Adventism. Höschele’s publications address topics such as Sabbath theology, military service, pacifism, and inculturation in African Adventist communities. He actively engages in theological workshops, symposia, and youth conferences, advocating for ethical reflection in multicultural contexts.
