Stefan Heitmann

Dr. Stefan Heitmann is a Lecturer at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences and the Department of Mathematics. He specializes in applied mathematics, with a focus on modeling using partial differential equations, particularly in fluid mechanics and turbulence. Since 2002, he has been part of the Lothar-Collatz Center for Scientific Computing, formerly the Center for Modeling and Simulation. He organizes the university's mathematical lecture series and serves as a contact person for the VDI Hamburg branch's Vibration and Acoustics working group. He advises students in B.Sc.
