Stefan Georg

Prof. Stefan Georg is a Professor of Service Management at Saarland University of Applied Sciences (htw saar), specializing in cost management, controlling, and entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Dr. rer. oec.) from Saarland University (1996) and has over 25 years of professional experience in business consulting and academic roles. His teaching spans cost accounting, web-based knowledge management, business planning, and laboratory management.

Research focuses include search engine optimization (SEO), cost management systems, entrepreneurial business models, and the impact of digitalization on controlling processes. Notable projects include the 5 Euro StartUp initiative and studies on inflation effects on corporate valuation.
