Stefan Eckert

Stefan Eckert is an Associate Professor of Music at Eastern Illinois University. He holds a Diploma from the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen (Germany) and M.A./Ph.D. in Music Theory from SUNY Stony Brook. His research focuses on the History of Music Theory, compositional theory from the 17th–19th centuries, Musical Form, and Music Theory Pedagogy.
